| Hold Policy |
|
We will place a hold on a dragon without a deposit for a 24 hour period only. After that, we will hold for up to 2 weeks when a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 25% of the price of the animal has been received via instant payment. Once a deposit has been placed, the dragon is yours. Therefore, a fee of $10 per week will be charged for the care, housing and feeding of your dragon. The above aforementioned fee will be due and payable along with the hold deposit fee. It will continue to receive the same care and attention while waiting for transport to their new home. Any remaining balance owed for the price of the dragon plus shipping will be due and payable prior to shipping. |
| Live Arrival Guarantee |
|
If in the unlikely occurrence that your dragon is DOA, you must notify us within 2 hours of arrival with a photograph of the dead animal. Do not dispose of the packing materials as it may be needed to ship the dragon back to us for insurance purposes. Upon receipt of the photo and in some cases, the body, you will receive a refund of the entire purchase price of the dragon or a replacement, if available. All deliveries must be signed for and received by the customer on the first attempt of delivery or this guarantee is null and void. |
| Health Guarantee |

Prior to shipping a dragon, we do everything we can to ensure that you are receiving a healthy, vibrant dragon that has developed strong and regular eating habits.
If for some unforeseen reason your dragon arrives and displays complications, we do offer a 10 day health guarantee provided that the buyer has performed the following:
- Was at home to sign for and receive their new dragon upon first delivery attempt.
- Had properly quarantined their dragon for the first 2 weeks after receipt.
- Had provided care and husbandry in accordance to our Caresheet guidelines.
- Notified us IMMEDIATELY (within 24 hours) of any health concerns or issues they may have had.
- Had followed all recommendations provided by us in regards to the above issues. Most of the time, issues can be corrected with a simple adjustment to the feeding schedule, care and husbandry. In extreme cases, a recommendation to a qualified herp specialist may be made. We do not reimburse any veterinarian fees incurred.
If your dragon needs to be returned to us for health complications, we will either refund the purchaser the full purchase price or offer a replacement, if one is currently available. The dragon will need to be returned to us in the same manner it was delivered at the cost of the purchaser. |
| Sexing and Coloration |
|
We attempt to accurately determine the sex of each dragon prior to offering for sale. However, sexing is not guaranteed in dragons under 12" due to the varied developmental change rates that occur in young dragons.
The coloration of your dragon is dependent on a number of factors such as genetics, health, age, stress and husbandry. We do our best to accurately capture each dragon's coloration and patterning, as well as of the parents of the dragon in the pictures offered prior to sale. If in the event you are unsatisfied with your new dragon, we will offer a refund or exchange only in compliance with our stated terms noted below (Returns/Exchanges). |
| Purchaser's Responsibility |

Owning a bearded dragon requires that a person is willing and able to make a commitment in providing the proper care for it. After purchasing, we encourage you to contact us if in the event you should have any questions or concerns regarding your dragon. However, prior to purchasing a dragon, we ask that you do your research first. Please refer to the Caresheet area on our site. We have also listed a couple of recommended forums and information sites that should provide an abundance of information.
Please also note that bearded dragons, regardless of age, go thru varying degrees of relocation stress when they have been introduced to a new home, area or cage. It can take up to a few weeks for a dragon to become acclimated to their new surroundings. Stress in a dragon can sometimes cause them to not eat, display stress-marks and also can cause their parasitic count to be elevated during the adjustment period. We've purchased dragons that ate right out of shipping box and others that required much patience and coaxing for quite a while before they ate heartily on their own. These are individual dragons with very unique and different personalities.
It is the buyer's responsibility to properly quarantine a new bearded dragon for a period of 2 weeks or more when they receive it. This is just good practice to ensure the health of your new dragon and others you may have in your household. Quarantining includes placing them in a completely sanitized enclosure in a different area away from any other reptiles. If a purchaser fails to quarantine their dragon, any requests for a refund or exchange within the allotted time frame will be declined. |
| Returns/Exchanges |

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If for some reason you are not, please contact us immediately within 24 hours to discuss the reasons why you may not be and also to discuss how we can make things better for you.
If you decide that you wish to return your dragon for a refund, please note that we will refund for the purchase price minus the shipping cost. It will be the buyer's responsibility and at their cost, to ship the dragon back to us within 4 days in the exact same manner as it was shipped to them. There will also be a $50 restocking fee charged, as during the timeframe that the dragon was not in our care, it could have been sold to another purchaser. Once the dragon has been returned safely in the same health condition (providing return was not due to health complications), we will reimburse the purchaser the price of the dragon minus shipping and restocking fees.
We will also consider exchanges if we have a baby available that is of the same quality/price. A restocking fee will not be charged. Again, it will be the buyer's responsibility and at their cost, to ship the returned dragon back to us within 4 days in the exact same manner as it was shipped to them. Once the dragon has been returned safely in the same health condition (providing exchange was not due to health complications), we will ship the other dragon in exchange. Buyers are responsible for ALL shipping costs incurred.
The above satisfaction guarantee is offered provided that the buyer has performed all of the following:
- Was at home to sign for and receive their new dragon upon first delivery attempt.
- Had properly quarantined their dragon for the first 2 weeks after receipt.
- Had provided care and husbandry in accordance to our Caresheet guidelines.
- Notified us IMMEDIATELY (within 24 hours) to discuss any issues they may have with their new dragon.
If not, any requests for refunds or exchanges will be declined. |
| Shipping |

All Beardies will be shipped UPS Next Day Air (via FedEx) Monday through Wednesday. In most cases, the new Beardie should arrive by 10:30am. The ship date will be arranged with the buyer at the time of purchase.
Shipping costs generally range from $35-$65, depending on the destination and the distance from www.rockinardragonz.com. However, with the recent increase in shipping rates, the amount may be more. If multiple juvenile (up to 3) or sub-adult (up to 2) dragons are purchased, shipping cost will not increase. You will save on shipping costs by purchasing multiple dragons. If you would like to receive a quote on shipping, please email us the zip code of the destination.
Cold packs or heat packs (weather requiring), and all packaging materials are all included in the shipping prices. Tracking numbers will be emailed to the buyers, upon request. We do reserve the right to delay shipment due to weather issues and will contact the buyer as soon as possible, if a delay is to occur. | |
