Ever read the story of the 'The Ugly Duckling'? Maniac was one of those babies that we were afraid that we would NEVER be able to sell. He had nothing going for him! He was unattractive and certainly didn't make up for it in personality. We thought we'd be stuck with him forever. We never even listed him for sale. At about 6 months, this boy went thru the most incredible transformation. After each shed, he became more and more stunning. He started filling out and developed such a beautifully chiseled body structure. It sure is funny how things work out. We never thought we would be able to sell him and later he became our 'keeper'... the one male we chose to keep from the Brick X Helen pairing in the 2009 season. He's turned out incredible with his gorgeous coloring, awesome structure and winning... uhhh... semi-friendly personality! He is calming down but we don't foresee him as ever being a lap-beardie.
